Our Pre tapered Ipe core wood is simple. Clean no knots. Width is about 1 1 4 wide, length is approx 78 unless you need it cut shorter. These core pieces are for bows that will be receiving a backing and a bellie.
The grain will not allow them to be used without a backing.
These are excellent belly cores but do not have vertical grain. They will require a backing of some sort. Greenheart core wood is about 1 1 4 wide and about 76-80 in length. Tapered thicknesses vary slightly around 1 4 at the fades to about 1 8 at the tips.
